The thing is…
…when they give us DVD extras it ends up being about 10-15 minutes total of interviews and cut footage. Oh, and commentaries on about 5 episodes.
What studios don’t seem to realise is that by ‘extras’ I actually want every fucking second of footage recorded over those nine months. I want to know the scenes it took 22 takes to get right and the ones that everyone aced first time. And I want to know every bum line or awkward transition that got edited out.
